Monday Morning Musings (in the afternoon)

Hope you are doing well. Sorry this is late so I will get right to it.
  • First, this Sunday we were supposed to have Joie Thomson from our partner church in Boston here to preach but due to unforeseen circumstances, we've had to postpone that until March.
  • Second, don't forget to bring food items for our Thanksgiving baskets which go to needy families from Watauga Elementary. Those items are due on the 19th. You should have received a newsletter with a list and your SS classes are helping with this as well.
  • Third, Operation Christmas Child boxes are due this Sunday. Get a box and get to packing!
Here's some links:
How Customer Review Changed the World … who knew? Fascinating!
Struggling with Assurance … this could help.
We Have Sinned and Grown Old … love this. A good thought for Thanksgiving as well.
The Common Grace of Conscience … something we may not talk enough about.
Aaron … such a great poem about how Jesus fulfills the high priestly office of Aaron and what it means for us.
“Truth is so obscured nowadays and lies are so well established that unless we love the truth we shall never recognize it.”
