Blessings to you all. Yesterday we had a wonderful day in the Lord. We took a look at Psalm 23 (not sure I did that justice). We enjoyed a fine men's breakfast with Jason Snider encouraging us. But we also had someone present themselves for baptism (Destiny Butler) and another (Marylyn Lester) join the church. The week before, the Snider family (of four) joined our church. The Lord is building his church!
A few things of note …
- This Friday is the men's fish fry at 6pm at the Church at Grace Park.
- August 3rd is promotion Sunday for Sunday School and a free breakfast before SS.
- August 10th we are having a memorial service to take a moment to remember several of the saints we have lost this past year.
- Also, my Sunday night men's discipleship group is starting back and we will be using the Deep Discipleship curriculum. Let me know if you want to be part of it.

Remembering John MacArthur … a few thoughts from different folks. We lost a good servant of the Lord last week. But it was his gain. Here's another wonderful tribute.

A Great Christ … for my great need.
“Humility teaches us to find rest in confession. Rest from the need to hide, the need to be perfect. We rest by saying, both to God and others, “I am not enough. I need help.” [Hannah Anderson]
