Grace and peace to you today. Yesterday was a good day. It was a full day. Our service. A special day of giving. A meal together. Kid's musical practice. Youth outing. It was a good day.
And speaking of that offering. We had a special day of giving to help make up some shortages for our year. And the Lord definitely stirred you all to give. We had a $30,000 offering. That's the largest we've ever had since I have been here. Praise God! And I thank God for your faithful giving.
Please remember, we will do this again, for our Lottie Moon Christmas offering. I know that's asking for more gifts above and beyond your regular giving, but this is the calling on our life, to give more and have less that others might have more. That's Christianity 101.

‘Wait on the Lord’…is a necessary word, for God often keeps us waiting. He is not in such a hurry as we are, and it is not his way to give more light on the future than we need for action in the present, or to guide us more than one step at a time. —J.I. Packer
