Monday Morning Musings

Grace and peace to you all once again! The Lord bless you all this morning. Great day yesterday (and the weekend). We worked hard at our workday and got much done. Thanks to all who helped. So thankful to baptize Riley Wooten yesterday as well. And thankful for a full house yesterday. God is so kind to us.
Here's a few reminders:
  • Fall Festival this Saturday from 4-6pm. If you are serving/helping be here for prayer at 3pm. Let's do all we can to connect with our community!
  • Don't forget to get your Operation Christmas Child boxes in the foyer.
  • And speaking of the foyer, you can order your church t-shirt or sweatshirt there.
Here's a few links …
Words Fit for our King … and our words are super important.
Who Are the Righteous … in the book of Psalms. It's a category of people that pops up alot, but who is it exactly?
Speak with a Christian Accent … it's even better than a southern accent.
Also, as part of the ongoing conversation we are having over the next couple of years, I will send out a link or two each Monday (or every other) addressing the topic of  church polity/governance, and specifically that of a plurality of pastors. Here's one: Does the Bible teach a plurality of pastors-elders? And what are the benefits of such?
The Fool Says in His Heart … a little primer on atheism.

“A good character is the best tombstone. Those who loved you and were helped by you will remember you when forget-me-nots have withered. Carve your name on hearts, not on marble.” – Charles H. Spurgeon
