Monday Morning Musings

Blessings this Monday to you all. So thankful for the Father's Day we had yesterday. The service was good (our music team stepped up!) and I enjoyed our time together in the Lord. It was also a restful day with family. So thankful!
  • Remember, this Wednesday night we have our quarterly business meeting at 6:30pm. We will meet on the 3rd floor in Jeremy Mooneyhan's SS classroom.
  • We still have youth and kid's summer Bible camp. Invite a friend!
  • Let me know if you want to help out with the YMCA outreach this Thursday.
  • 4th of July is right around the corner — fireworks, food, fun, fellowship (and cornhole). Bring a friend.
  • On a different note: please pray for the Downs family, as Kenny's dad has been put in hospice, up in Ohio.
Here's some links:
A Father's Guide to Vacations …  nice reminders.
Teaching the Kids … what the Bible says about homosexuality.
Churchiness Is Back … thank goodness — it needs to be. Let's make church like church again.
Doctrine Matters … watch this clip and see why. The Holy Spirit is God, just in case you miss it.
AI Apocalypse … OK, that's a little overstated. But read this free artice from the NY Times and you can see the danger, first. And then, second, you can see that when people do not have God, they turn to something else, always.
“Discernment is not knowing the difference between right and wrong. It's knowing the difference between right and almost right.” [Charles Spurgeon]
