Well, it's good to be back home. I've been gone most of the week and spending weekends in Alabama to help with my family. Lord willing, this week I will have a full week to focus on ending the year well. I trust you had a good Thanksgiving. I sure did. In Christ, we have much to be thankful for.
Things to think about …
- Lottie Moon Christmas offering this time of year. The official date for giving is Dec 15th but you can give at any time.
- We are planning on Christmas Caroling again this year, on December 18th, a Wednesday night. The kids and youth are going to the Waters Nursing Home. Others can join me as we visit some of our homebound folks.
- Our preschool's Christmas program is on December 8th at 3pm.
- Quarterly member's meeting is December 11th at 6pm.
- This Wednesday night we will be covering the last judgment on our last session of the year.

On So-Called Gender Pronoun Hospitality … you may very well have to deal with this at some point in your life.
A Liturgy for Rest … here's a sample prayer for rest, something that seems to get harder and harder to come by.
Evangelism for the Discouraged … some practical tips. Try it before the year is out.
Narnia Remains … C. S. Lewis and JFK died on the same day. Whose legacy was healthier for the world? I think the answer is clear.
Prepare to Speak on Sunday … the ministry of conversation.
“If the blood of the Lamb can take away 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘴𝘪𝘯 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘭𝘥, it can take away thy sin, though there be 𝘢 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘭𝘥 𝘰𝘧 𝘴𝘪𝘯 in thee.” [John Flavel]
