Hey Bethel,
Please keep praying for Ms. Ruby as she continues to grieve the loss of her husband, Don, of 67 years. I visited with her today and she is doing OK. She asked me to pass along her thanks for all your prayers and wanted me to tell everyone to come visit her. Many of you have asked about the arrangements for Don. It was Don's wish (and still is Ruby's) that they will have a joint service at a later date for the both of them. This does not mean that Ruby is in bad health. This was always their plan. So, there are no immediate plans for a funeral. One day, when that day arrives, Don and Ruby will be laid to rest together. Sweethearts to the end! You can find Don's obituary by clicking here.
On another note. Earlier this week I mentioned that our Chili Cook Off was moved to Feb 2nd. I am just reminding you of this again. Remember, there will be no chili this Sunday. If you bring some, I'll just keep it for our membership class. 🙂
