Blessings to you all! And praise God from whom all blessings flow. So grateful for our time together yesterday. We brought in three new members: Jeff and Erica Swope, and Thomas Reed. Thankful!
Here's a few reminders:
- Sign up for our mission trips, either to Scotland, Boston, or East Tennessee. Don't delay on this. Let us know. We have to plan so we need to know if you are going.
- Here are the arrangements for Mary Sterry's brother: William (Bill) Coakley – Visitation Monday 4-8 pm / Tuesday 12:30-2:3 0 Funeral 2:30 pm. Woodlawn Roesch-Patton F H @ 660 Thompson Ln. Nashville.
- We also need you to fill out the Amplify form and VBS volunteer forms.
- This Thursday night we have our first “parenting fellowship” at our house at 6pm. It's gonna be cold and it may snow, so this is subject to change.
- Also, I forgot to announce it but this Wednesday our DOM, Rob Burdette, will be with us on Wednesday night for a six week series on “The Great Commissions!”
Here's some links:
Marketing Jesus … the promise and peril of “He Gets Us.” This is why I showed this video yesterday in church.
To Those Living in Secret Sin … come into the light.
A Prayer Life that Nourishes Your Relationship with God … very helpful and practical.
Why Members Voting on Members … is their most important job. Hmmm …
The Purpose of Worship … is not to sense God's presence but to glorify him. Very short point but crucial. Should we long for a sense of God's presence? Yes. But to make that the goal is to get the cart before the horse.
