Monday Morning Musings (in the afternoon)

Grace and peace to you all today. It's a beautiful day. And we can say that, not juts because of the weather, but because of him who walks among us and holds us in his hands. Praise his name.
I want to take a moment to say “thanks” to you all for the opportunity to journey across the pond to Scotland to see the work God is doing through the ministry 20 Schemes. We are considering partnering with them and a local church there. Follow this link to see more about this wonderful ministry. Take note, we are scheduled to have Mez McConnell, the director, here on Father's Day, to preach God's Word. It was a blessing to see the Lord at work among the least, the last, and the lost of Scotland.
Here's some links:
Visible Grace in Disagreements … how can we disagree well? It's a skill we all need.
What Does 1 Peter 3:15 Mean? … another installment in this series looking at verses that we often misunderstand and showing you how to read the Bible.
Why Is the Doctrine of the Trinity a Hill to Die On? … and it is a hill to die on. A glorious hill.
Two Ways to Read the Bible … one way is a lot better than the other.
Cynics in the Hands of the Living God … I can be a little cynical and I think our world has grown so as well.

The Pharisee in the temple confessed a great many sins—but they were his neighbor’s sins and the publican’s sins; he made no confession of sin for himself.
