Good Monday morning! I trust your Sunday was helpful and you find yourself trusting in Jesus more than ever. If not, let us help you.
A few reminders first …
- This Sunday is the last day for your Operation Christmas Child Boxes.
- Also, this Sunday is the last day to bring canned goods for our Watauga Thanksgiving Outreach.
- Speaking of this Sunday, it's a big one. We have our Thanksgiving Churchwide Meal on Sunday (everything provided for you). We will host the community service that evening at 5pm with finger food fellowship after.
- And this Sunday is a Day of Giving. Do you have some extra? Can you give a little more this Sunday? It helps us make up for some of the gap we have experienced thus far.
- Also, this Saturday night is the International Night of Prayer from 6-9pm. Come anytime to pray for the persecuted church and write a note to our mission partners both here and overseas. This event is sponsored by our Bethel Student Ministry — support them and our mission friends.

John Paton and the Bible … this is the clip from yesterday's service. Try watching it without tearing up. I dare you. This is why we give to missions and Bible translation.
Good Night, My Son … see you in the morning — a father's tribute of dealing with the tragic loss of a child.
“Good and evil both increase at compound interest. That is why the little decisions you and I make every day are of such infinite importance. The smallest good act today is the capture of a strategic point from which, a few months later, you may be able to go on to victories you never dreamed of. An apparently trivial indulgence in lust or anger today is the loss of a ridge or railway line or bridgehead from which the enemy may launch an attack otherwise impossible.” ― Mere Christianity
