Monday Morning Musings

Grace and Peace! Just want to praise God for his mercies that are new everyday and how we live by grace. It's grace upon grace in our lives. And I want to give thanks for the ministry of 20Schemes and Mez McConnell. Yesterday Mez brought a challenging message to us about not losing our first love from Revelation 2:1-7. Sound familiar? But we always need to hear it because we are always in danger of it.
Also, we forgot to say it yesterday, so … HAPPY FATHER'S DAY!
  • There is NO member's meeting this week. That has been moved to July 10th. Please pass that along to others. It was listed wrongly on the slide before the service. That was my fault.
  • Don't forget that our youth are at camp this week. Pray for them, that God would meet with them powerfully and it would not be a “camp experience” only.
  • Also, we will be having our 4th of July food and fireworks. Invite a friend!
  • July 7th is the Walker's last day. Not only will we commission/ordain him, we will also have a send off potluck meal for them following the service. Bring a dessert and a side.

“If your view of God is true to original, Jesus-given Christianity, here's one way you'll know: not by merely taking a true-false exam on paper but by noticing your relationships with other Christians.” [Ray Ortlund, Jr.]
