Glory Be to God! What a wonderful day yesterday. We finished up Revelation and our song service yesterday was just amazing, as guest Terel Davy led us. It felt a little like heaven didn't it? The Lord truly has gifted him but still, the truth is the same, and we can sing like that, not merely because of talent, but because of the hope of glory. Praise the Lord!
A few things of note …
- Now that the book of Revelation is finished we will be finishing up the summer with a look at a few different Psalms, especially Psalm 23. It's a good balance between the pictures of Revelation and the tender shepherd of Psalm 23. In the Fall, we are going to look at the Fruit of the Spirit, especially as seen in the life of Christ.
- Centrikid is this week! Don't forget to pray for those kids and their leaders.
- The YMCA food giveaway is going great. We need a few volunteers on Thursday afternoon from 2:30-5:00pm. Can you hand out some food and a smile? You are qualified!
- See you Wednesday night at 6:30! [There will be kids Bible Summer Camp even though it's Centrikid week.]
