What does it mean to branch out? Well, reach out, you could say. Having grown up, you’ve got fruit to share with others. You’ve got love, kindness, resources, talents, abilities, knowledge, and Jesus. Share him. And be intentional. Be deliberate. Live a life of touching others with the love and lifestyle of Jesus Christ. There’s no better way to live.
The key is to think people. As you become part of Bethel, look for others whom you can help. Look at your neighbors, or coworkers, or teammates, or classmates, or family, or hairdresser, or waiter, or whoever you are in constant contact with every day or every week. That’s the field where God wants you to sow his love. When it comes to sharing Jesus with others, or helping out in the church, just look around you and see who needs it, or where that help is needed.
Of course, there are different ministries here at the church where help is needed. If you have a heart to serve, then ask someone, like the pastors where you might plug in.
