Praise the Lord! No matter what is going on in your life, good or bad, if God is sovereign, Jesus has risen from the dead, and you are in Christ, we have reason to praise the Lord. I trust you had a edifying day of worship yesterday. It was good to think about our lives being that of thankful worship unto the Lord. My prayer is that your heart has a gospel song of hope to sing today. With that said, here are a few articles that may be of some encouragement to you today:
What's one of Satan's greatest lies? That you can sin without suffering.
Here's an article about the most pressing issue (possibly) for the church right now. It's written by a conservative columnist I like but I don't subscribe to the Catholic option he speaks of, though he makes some great points. We need to get prepared because what he speaks of is coming.
This is a little bit longer article but a good one, especially if you have teenagers who feel the pressure to date. You may find this article a bit of a challenge and sorting it out with your kids is tough work. But, something to think about.
Here's a great article for us all, single or married. We really need to have a biblical perspective on sexuality if we are going to engage our messed up world lovingly on this issue. And I really think this is an article that I think single people will find helpful.
And now your quote for the day: "God has linked together holiness and happiness; and what God has joined together we must not think to put asunder." [J. C. Ryle]
